She married Edward ‘Ned’ Redfearn on September 25, 1873, in her hometown. They had 15 children, of which 14 survived.
She died on May 26, 1929, in Chesterfield, South Carolina, at the age of 75, and was buried in Wadesboro, North Carolina. Per records found regarding a request for a delayed birth certificate of Ed Redfearn, Ned died at the age of 85 years old.
