Paul Redfearn (Redfern)

Paul Redfern was born on March 27, 1883, in Anson, North Carolina, his father, Edward, was 38 and his mother, Caroline, was 28.  Paul Redfern was married in 1907 when he was 24 years old in Union, North Carolina.  At the age of 19 yrs, he married Minnie Boulware, Daughter of Alice & John Boulware.   She was 14 years of age.

Paul and Minnie had six children together.  However, their second child, Louise born on December 1, 1911, passed three months later from Broncho-pneumonia.  Louise passed on March 14, 1912.

Paul was struck by a car and died immediately.   The car accident occurred on a street in Monroe. Union, N.C.  He died on September 22, 1968, in Monroe, North Carolina, at the age of 85.  He was buried at the Hillcrest Cemetery in Monroe, N.C. on September 27, 1968.

Minnie Redfern, the wife of Paul,  passed on December 5, 1946.  She is buried at the Hillcrest Cemetery as well.

Eva May Redfearn  1910–  As of the 1930 Census, Eva was 20 yrs old, single and living home at 809 Winchester Avenue in Monroe, Union County 

Louise Redfearn born on December 1, 1911, passed three months later from Broncho-pneumonia.  Louise passed on March 14, 1912.

Paul Preston Redfern Jr born March 13, 1913, and passed on Jul. 6, 1946 in Chattanooga
Hamilton County Tennessee.  He was the husband of Ernestine Redfearn.

Christina Aldrich Redfern (Belton) born Oct. 22, 1921, Chesterfield County South Carolina.  She passed on Jul 20, 2016.  She was a retired Educator in the Union County Public School System, a long time member of the Elizabeth Missionary Baptist of Monroe, NC, and a member of the local chapter of the Order of the Eastern Stars. Mrs. Belton was the widow of the late Dr. E.L. Belton, Sr., and also preceded in death by a son Eddie Belton, Jr., and her four siblings.

Agnes Louise Redfern (Ingram) born Feb. 15, 1915 in Monroe,  Union County, North Carolina.  She passed Jun. 13, 1964 in Butner, Granville County North Carolina.

Harold Kenneth Redfern born July 24, 1924, and passed on January 19, 1979.  He was a self-employed Bondsman.  He married Elizabeth Robinson (1925-1980).
